Beside the listed documents, the student submits an application form including his general information, contact information etc.The application form is where the student chooses the faculty he/she is applying for, as well as the language in which he/she wishes to study.
Candidates are ranked according to their high school GPA. There are no entrance exams. Studies at FON are self-funded. Annual tuitions can be paid in 6 (six) installments. Tuitions and fees, as well as other mutual rights and obligations of the student and the university are established by the Study Contract, which is prepared after the final ranking of accepted students.
An annual tuition is 2,000 EUR, paid in denars. Upon application, the candidate deposits 500 EUR and makes a preliminary contract with the university.
There is a single fee for a school uniform the students are obliged to wear during their studies.;
A single fee of 1,000 denars for a student index;
A single fee of 1,000 denars for a student ID and access card;
An annual fee of 300 denars for insurance;
An annual fee of 400 denars for a student ISIC discount card;
At the beginning of each academic year, the student can choose to buy all literature for that year in a package. The price for that kind of purchase is lower than the sum of all books bought individually;
Due to the distinctiveness of the Faculty for Detectives and Security and the vast amount of practical teaching foreseen in the curricula, there are additional expenses for students of this faculty;
The student who fails to pass all exams of the previous academic year up to the September exam term has to pay additional fees;
FON University awards a scholarship for the tuition of an academic year to talented students, who have passed their exams with a GPA of 10.00 and shown affinities for scientific work. Scholarships (one for a student at the University in Skopje and one for a student at the University’s Administrative Unit in Struga) are awarded before the beginning of each academic year. Selection of applicants is carried out by a special Commission, consisting of FON University professors.
